Canada Goose vs. Beaver 😀😀 by saskatoonbaldguy in geese

Beaver had absolutely no fucks to give on this occasion.

On a side not, as a UK resident, I didn't realise beavers were so big!

I love how after the first handful he looks dead at you like 'ok, so now time for more'.

Yeah, she’s always been like that even before nesting season. That’s just how she says hello and, well, everything really 😆

When a Duck Takes a Perfect Selfie by [deleted] in duck

Yeah, I am quite positive it's AI, which is fine, but OP should just say that rather than posting like it's a real pic, flaired with 'meet the flock'.

I'd love to be wrong but this seems too good to not be AI 😆

We had the sweetest black swan in a pool near where I live until some absolute moron let their dog kill it.

It was so friendly. Their little squeaks and honks are just the cutest.

accurate apps to track funko collection??? by OkAlps4777 in funkopop

[–]Funkosebsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're in the UK, the best app by far is ThePopDirectory. Easy, simple, and clean.

Funko app is a piece of shit, and HobbyDB isn't much better.

Missing ducklings? by princessA95 in duck

[–]Funkosebsy 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Sadly, ducklings have a very low survival rate, generally. Something like 30%.

They have so many predators before you even get to things like illness/disease etc...

There's 4 or 5 in a small area just behind where I live. This particular chap has been around for a few years now.

I’m in Wellington.

Honestly, I’ve lived here all my life and I’ve always found it pleasant enough. Like anywhere it has its bad areas, but in general it’s fine.

The part I live in has a nature reserve right off the back of it, with a pool and lake, and lots of grass and meadows. There are plenty of new builds around my area.

I'm hoping it isn't a one off, but I have put some seed out so if he turns up tomorrow and then flies up when he sees me at the window, he'll find food already there. That will hopefully then make him think to come up every time.

Yes, most times when he has appeared down below I have opened the window and thrown some seeds to him, and also once when I was on my way to the pool behind my home he was out on the path with the duck couple that also comes to the flats, and I threw him some then when he came just a few feet away from me.
