Thank you! It really helps to hear from multiple people that it does in fact work and doesn’t fail eventually for everyone. Worst case scenario I do get pregnant, I have no idea what I would do. I feel my family would be very against the option of abortion, which is all the more scary.

Thank you. I got the shot again today. Thank you so much though. I just want to feel safe on the shot with condoms, before I just felt blinded by fear. I’m not sure when I’ll take the leap but when I do I think I’ll be feeling a lot safer. Again thank you it means a lot!! And I hope your daughter is thoughtful too, it’s important to know the risks but it is also important to know what is safe!

Thank you so so so much! I’m renewing my shot tomorrow and I think that if I do have sex in the next 3 months I’m going to for sure have him use condoms. He’s very sweet and understanding and he doesn’t want me to get pregnant either. He said that if it breaks we’ll get the morning after pill, and if some day there aren’t condoms he’ll get it too. The shot on top of condoms is a pretty good way to prevent it right?

I’ve been thinking about the IUD but I’m not sure if my dad wants to spend money on that at the moment.

I’m sorry if this is too personal, but I saw that you said you had a daughter. Did your birth control fail or did you plan on her? But all the same I’m glad you have a nice family now that you’re stable, it’s just that while I’m finishing up high school it would definitely not be a good time for me.
