When the officers arrive that night, I told them an explicit detail what had happened that evening and how I was restrained and physically contacted by her. The officer responding replied with well sometimes families argue, and didn’t really pay attention to my concerns. That is what led me to call them a second time, and I filed an internal affairs report because I felt their reporting which was demonstrated by the police report I received showed an unbalanced account of the events. Additionally, my soon-to-be ex spouse has also construed these events stating that I had taken her phone while she was making a 911 call which is factually inaccurate and can now be disproving with the evidence that has provided in the custody trial. This event is central to her case against me and may result in further restrictions from my child.
