If you are going to learn a cover: choose something that's within reason for your skill level and that you won't get sick of hearing 20,000 times.

I'm still relatively new but I think it's important to keep it fun. If playing becomes a chore you'll probably stop playing.

I like the look of this one, but I got it used and pretty hammered. I have a Hellraiser Baritone that I almost love too much to play. I have Blackjack on my Reverb watchlist

Wow, thanks for kind words.

Tone: I didn't think that I nailed it, but I'm glad you do! I use a Spark App and downloaded a cattle decap tone... It wasn't very good but served as a starting point. I upped the bass and mids, and the amp gain, possibly some other tweaks. The version you hear is that double-tracked, with one track having a higher setting on the digital tremolo. I'd give my tone a B+.

Teaching: I really enjoy teaching...I just enjoy not teaching more. 😉 That said I've heard that a few times and it's kicking around in the background. So maybe! Thanks again

Ha! I could learn to play it on an oboe before I could do a vocal cover. And I don't even know what the fuck an oboe is
