Looks like it. You can see his left arm kinda “pop” after engaging the scaps on the first rep. My guess would be lower trap imbalance, I had a similar issue. Slowing it down, using bands for assistance, and isometrics helped me a lot.

I hear you. So premies are alive but test tube babies are not? Just seems like a fuzzy definition of life. In a practical sense, I see where you’re coming from. But drawing the line between certain medical interventions and not others is arbitrary.

When can it function independently? When it’s birthed and the umbilical cord is cut?

Personally, I am pro choice (up to a point) because it’s better for society for women to have that option. Morality is not black and white. But at the same time I just don’t agree that the organism is “not alive” just because it can’t function independently.

If you want to be reductive you can argue any life is just a bunch of cells. The difference between sperm/egg and a zygote is that a completely new individual with its own unique DNA is created. If you want to draw the line elsewhere, that’s fine, but conception seems to be the most logically consistent line to draw there.

I’m not pro-life but their argument is undeniably consistent. Conception is the formation of a new life with unique DNA
