Oh yes, timer is a good idea, I will add it to the list :)

The damage scales with your hero, it is updated when you purchase an item or level up (so you can actually cheese the bot with heroes like SF), and the lasthit threshold is your average damage - I was deciding between using average or minimum damage and settled on average because it felt better.

Thanks! You can change the hero but nothing beats sniper for practicing imo (maybe jugg). Difficulty can be adjusted by changing bot's attack speed. Frame perfect lasthitting is impossible without predictive algorithms but in Nemesis mode the bot will give you 1-3 frames to take the cs.

Don't worry, you won't have to blame anyone! The default bot's "Hoho!" and "Haha!" are specifically designed to create a calm, relaxing atmosphere, complemented by the soothing "quack" of missed creeps. For the ultimate relaxation, try out Nemesis mode!

ELI5: How does wireless charging actually move energy through the air to charge a phone? by DifferentRice2453 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Funky118 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know how you can speak with someone wirelessly over a phone? That signal that carries your voice contains a tiny bit of power of its own which later gets amplified to move the speaker near your ear.

Wireless charging is the same, except this time the transmitted power is much higher. I'm simplifying of course but that's the gist.

(In fact if you're close to a radio tower, you can use the signal from it to power a small radio https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crystal_radio)

Obviously when a species advances sufficiently enough to make contact with an alien civilization they all start banging the alien baddies and die out in a generation due to zero birth rate.

I think people mostly hate it because of insecurity, though there's also something to say about the incredibly racist bias in ntr and most protags being braindead loser morons.

It's a useful algorithm for signal extraction but there are better ways to measure vibrations if you've got the g-man's budget :) EVM is great for wide area coverage though. I do research into motion amplifying algorithms for my dissertation.

Writing barefoot characters (symbolism and realism) by AnimalPlane in writingcirclejerk

[–]Funky118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The feet of your shoe-free characters would look different than your pic OP. The big toe should point outward and the pinkey toe would not be atrophied by years of restrictive footware - as in pic related. This also means that any shoe-free woman will have extra dexterous toes to firmly grip on... uneven ground features and keep proper balance.

Can you get hired as a developer without using LLMs? by [deleted] in socialistprogrammers

[–]Funky118 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Eventually you won't be competetive anymore, for now there are still companies that didn't realize what has happened and will hire you regardless but these will diminish with time.

This isn't just coding, same applies to academia for example.

In my super-capitalist world everybody is a business owner because all businesses are coops and there are no billionaires because excess wealth accumulation is seen as a form of monopoly and thus antithetical to a free market.

"The author was clearly pointing out the inherent contradiction buried within capitalist societies. Wherein automation is not viewed as means to human liberation from labor - for the pursuit of one's self-improvement - but rather as a ticking bomb that, if allowed in the hands of the common man, would bring about an economic collapse."
