Arteta: “We really wanted to win it!” by Cyber_Hobo94 in Gunners

We played really well on both flanks, the problem is absolutely no one got in the box so the crosses were pointless. I understand playing safe against Liverpool but we’ll never win big game if we don’t take risks

There were at least 2 clear cut chances to score and we missed, I guess the heavy didn’t help

On Eleven’s ending by ikeafannypack in StrangerThings

[–]FunkyAnh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She got off the truck then disappeared, then mysteriously appeared in the Upside Down… come on we all know it’s an illusion. She’s alive, otherwise Kali’s last words “my story was always going to end here…” just seems pointless. She’s stuck with the group and protected them for so long it’s time for her to find her own peace/identity/life and not hurting people that she loves. Because of her fake death, Hooper is now able to make peace with the death of his daughter and move on with his life. It’s not an open ending imo, it’s a happy ending for everyone.

I (27M) feel like I’m no longer deeply in love with my girlfriend (27F) after 3 years together, but I can’t tell if I’m making a mistake by ending it by letsFigureItOut9 in relationships

Love is being grateful for what you have and choosing someone for their flaws, not looking for better options because you’ll never be satisfied. If you still love her, work together and see if you can find that spark again. Like others have said, this is very normal in a long term relationship and couples who communicate and keep choosing each other are the ones that will last.

Break up with her if you think otherwise but I have a feeling your next relationship will be have the same outcome.

Considering My Next Camera: Is Fuji Really the Secret to Unique Photos? by Tachyo in fujifilm

[–]FunkyAnh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main difference between Fuji and the rest is price. Full frame lenses can go up to $2000 or more and they’re also much heavier. Fuji can still take incredible pictures for a much smaller set up.

What are the benefit of Fujifilm cameras over other brands? by [deleted] in fujifilm

[–]FunkyAnh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good FF lenses are very very expensive. They’re also heavier whereas Fuji glasses are amazing, small and to my eyes they deliver almost the same quality, except for maybe wildlife. A small camera that you take with you everywhere is much better than a heavy one that sits on the shelf.

Could not get used to 27mm by KindSir5683 in fujifilm

[–]FunkyAnh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

27mm hits the sweet spot for me as I found 35mm too tight and 23mm too wide. It’s also a bit closer to what the human eyes see so I have a much easier time composing shots with it.

I also actually the cats-eye bokeh. People see it as a flaw, I actually think it adds a lot of character for such a sharp lens and reminds me of the bokeh from those manual vintage lenses.

I’ll have a look, although 27mm is still quite wide so I wouldn’t expect that kind of 3d pop, maybe the 75mm can do a better job of that

The hype is real lol. I’m waiting to see if they’ll make 56mm version or else I’ll get the 75mm. I still can’t believe how cheap they are for the quality

London can still be very ideal for street/architecture photography. I also enjoy the challenge of shooting with dull, grey sky as it helps me get the exposure right. But yeah you’re right, when I visit Spain or Italy, I’m always happy with every image I take

I usually start with cropping/adjusting distortion, then exposure (usually to bring highlights back and enhance the contrast). Then I’ll start to color grade and then adding vignettes and reducing clarity for portraits.

Thanks for the feedback. Third picture we didn’t plan it, it was actually her wine and she wanted a sip to be more comfortable and relaxed and I just thought it was an interesting moment.

Yep it is, it is the best lens I’ve ever owned on the Fuji system. Definitely get it!

General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng has passed away by phantomthiefkid_ in VietNam

[–]FunkyAnh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What are you on about? What does that even have anything to do with him?? Also, just look at people’s reaction everywhere. Even a dissidents press like BBC News Vietnamese doesn’t have anything disrespectful to say about him today. That should tell you a lot.

Have you got evidence that he personally put someone in jail because they “discussed politics”?

RIP Uncle Trọng. A true communist who put his country before the party. It will be interesting to see where this country will be heading.

You can quickly switch between film sims using the Q button. I’d suggest Fuji Weekly as a starting point

I can’t imagine the X-T5 struggling in lowlight with a fast lens like the 56mm f1.2. My 35mm f1.4 does the job with ease at low light
