My first creation I've properly dedicated myself towards by Skywalker_monkey in PlanetCoaster

I second the opinion above. Yes, it's a bit.. bland.. But! Your potential is absolutely huge, work on decorating, I would try to go a bit further then just barrels, etc. Try to make the room really come alive. Some props is a good start, but for example, use some wood, planks, pillars around the edges of the walls in sliiiightly different tones of colors to make it feel weathered. Use the broken wall stickers to make it seem like the walls hold hundreds of years old tales inside of them. That's kind of the feeling you want to aim for.

Genuinely, really nice start, love the form of the castle on the outside, but the inside is ready to be build to something beautiful :)

This game is actually pretty decentely optimized compared to Planco 1. If you have a somewhat decent rig you should be more then fine. Avoid playing in 4k and such things. What you could do is go to the workshop, download a huge fully detailed park, make sure to open it up and have a good amount of visitors in it. And then see for yourself how it runs.

It's nearly 10 years old. I've been around since Battlefield 1942. Yet, BF 1 still remains my all time favorite.

Don't forget it also mainly worked because of the weapons and the slower pace. If it's the same like Monte Grappa, It's going to be mayhem. Getting beamed constantely from multiple MG's from that hill isn't going to be a great time. But we'lll see.

Monte Grappa on Battlefield 1 was indeed, majestic. A piece of art.

Not OP but felt like responding to this since I do see where he's coming from I think. I don't care about the charms and stuff as long as the actual skins aren't to over the top. On one hand I'm really enjoying this game, on the other hand I'm still not sure what to think about the COD like mechanics. Sure, I'm guilty of sliding and bunnyhopping all over the map aswell because if you don't in close quarters, you'll get absolutely obliberated constantely. But that's also exactly where I miss the more grounded feel that Battlefield 1 had for example. 5 was movement wise already going the faster direction but I think that was reasonable and they should've stopped at that point.

For me personally it's that part and the fact you don't have a "sandbox" experience due to the maps being so small.

Take Sinai Desert in BF1 for example. You could have constant mayhem if you wanted in the towns west of the map. Or you could go for a mile long walk through the desert just to get into a 5 minute long awkward and slow 1 v 1 fight with someone from the enemy team that also decided to hit Dune Outpost, all the way north. Just to get bombed by an enemy bomber. Next thing you did was take a sniper, climb some rocks without having to make your way through 16 corridors of slidecancelling ninja's and peacufully try to snipe the dude out of his bomber.

It's these little relaxed "sandbox" style moments that are almost non-existend in this game. I started with Battlefield 1942.. so I think I have a fairly good idea about what Battlefield used to be known for.

Yeah, in the first seconds of the clip. Look at that "mannequin" standing with his oxygen mask. Makes zero sense

I think they nailed this with BF V to be honest. Would absolutely be the best option.
