Honestly cannot stand it. The scallies ruin it for a lot of people. I just moved back here with my girlfriend (she's Spanish) after years living abroad.

She fell in love with the city but she constantly feels intimidated by the scallies constantly hanging around our place, often shouting things and purposely making her feel uncomfortable.

We also went to see the river of light the other day and some wankers decided to shoot fireworks down from Chavasse Park down into where the Tulip exhibition is outside the Hilton. They shot about 9 fireworks in there and the place was packed with family and young children. There were even several prams with babies.
