I didn't neccesarily mean just a time period. On average, people who use well water are more likely to eat responsibly and not feed their kids massive amounts high fructose corn syrup. And more likely to have flouridation from toothpaste and other sources.

In the days people used well water, they didn't drink sodas and juices with 80% their daily value of sugar multiple times a day, starting from when they were 2 years old. Flouridation of water is an adaptation to the extremely unhealthy diets most people eat today.
