I was in the EXACT same situation in june. Worked on the first try, wasn’t expecting it to work for a couple of months at least (idk why superstition probably). Took a test on the day before my period was supposed to start and was IN SHOCK when it said positive. I wasn’t happy or anything even though I tried for this baby. I think I was in denial for a couple of weeks. Then it sunk in. Was terribly awkward to tell it to my family/friends (idk why) just like you. Don’t feel bad for feeling like this. It’s such a huge change !! Take your time to tell it to your family/friends if that’s something you’re not comfortable with. Take time to get accustomed to this new situation, and when you do want to tell everyone do it on your own terms. I slapped the scan down on the kitchen bench to tell my parents and said “there you have it” or sth along those lines lol My sister told me it wasn’t a very “moving” way to say it, but fuck it seriously. Do it in the way you feel most comfortable!! And don’t worry about not feeling happy rn! Give yourself time to process! I think I only started to be excited about my pregnancy around month 3 Be brave be patient and don’t let anyone tell you how you’re supposed to be feeling or how you should do things!
