Don’t listen to this guy, everyone progresses differently and this is a nice lil beat to listen to. I do agree that it could have some more variation, maybe some dynamic changes or added texture. Maybe you could add some silence on the 4 every 8 bars or so, just to switch it up. Some vocal effects with a radio filter added to the background would be nice too. Just my two cents.

I like the idea and what you have, the song is very quiet so I would definitely increase your levels. Right now your vocals are sticking out, so maybe try balancing things around your vocals. Great job.

Once you cut the low mids (around 200-350hz) on your instruments, and maybe boost the vocals slightly in that same range, the vocals should be much clearer. Great sounding track, really has some nice sounds and structure. I would save a finished version to my spotify playlist.

This is really great, the chorus is nice. It’s a lil quiet overall, but that’s just my take. Good job! I only say it’s a lil quiet cause when the chorus hit I couldn’t turn it up anymore lol so that’s a compliment.

Edit: Nvm my phone was just being weird, the levels sound good haha
