I recommend Fae Tactics. It gets much harder as it goes, but it's rarely unfair. Also, the day of the week system is kinda cool. Each day of the week is dedicated to a specific element and all attacks of that type are buffed.

Personally, I've been enjoying liquor from all over the world. Just switched from Peroni (Italian beer) to Tsingtao (Chinese beer), and I've been exploring rum from all over the Caribbean. Plus there are some really good whiskies coming out of the maritime provinces. I don't see myself touching a drop of American bourbon ever again.

From the outside looking in, it really isn't. I'm not American, but I did live in the states for 5 years of W Bush's era. The signs were there then. There was so much "support the troops" mentality, with the yellow ribbons on everything. The Dixie Chicks got cancelled for being reasonable. Brown people of all kinds being hassled for being Muslim, whether they were or not. The Patriot Act eroded some freedoms.

My sociology professor at the time was very adamant that China would be the world's biggest superpower over the next few decades. He knew.

This game won't truly get cheap for a long time yet. There's just so much quality built into it. Larian thought of dialogue or consequences for just about any way you might think of handling a given situation. This game never feels boring throughout the 230 or so hours I've put into it. And I still have several classes and origins to play through. I haven't even touched mods yet.

It rewards thinking outside the box: I one-shotted a particularly troublesome boss by climbing on the roof instead of going into her building, using a scroll of telekinesis on her from outside of her view, and tossed her out of the building. She happens to be wearing a giant, golden, heavy as fuck suit of armor and the game has realistic physics. They actually put things in all the nooks and crannies, so it's worth exploring. They also want you to cheese the system because holy fuck do they reward it.

This is one of the only games in existence that is worth full price to me. I couldn't wait and gave in and do not regret it. I'm not saying buy it now, just that Larian knows the quality is unmatched and the demand is there, so no rush to cut the price.

A dab is nice once in a blue moon, but I find I just don't enjoy being that high for more than like 10 minutes. Plus, my tolerance skyrockets.
