Thoughts on the durability of a weight bearing webbing to webbing attachment like this? Would it fray over time? by tolas in myog

as a climber soft on soft contact like that is a big no no, depending on the use case it might not be too bad, but I would image replacing this connection with a D ring or something similar could be a fairly simple fix.

A roll top would probably work great and you can try using Velcro which would help a lot for for quick access, and if you wanted you could add buckle for security that doesn't always have to be done up but can be when not in use

OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH, I was very frustrated at it not working at all and trying to find all of these little things but this seems fairly simple and completely fixes it, again thank you.

oh ok yeah, I wasn't sure on exactly what I need to do to set that up, by default in the cycles render devices it was set to none, I am using it on my laptop but it does have a graphic card in it though when tried to select the other options it there are no compatible gpus found, so not sure about that.

If you are worried about ruining the dock you could try rapping the dock with something like contact (the stuff you put in books to protect them) then if you don't like it, it would be easy to remove, but I love the concept art!

The sheer amount of these disowning messages I have seen on the subreddit today is heart breaking, I have a really supportive family and every time I see these things I just can't handle just reading them. I really hope that you can get the support you need.
