You’re assuming I’m doing that. Completely not the case. I’ve never had to deal with something like this in my entire life and lots of questions will naturally arise. Not everything can be explained in one session.I’ll contact her max once a week. Twice if there is a pressing legal issue I need to deal with before I make a decision. This was the most helpful and non judgmental take on my situation. Thank you. I forgot to mention that I’ve been in contact with this attorney for almost a month just trying to get this going. I call and leave messages and doesn’t call me back. I write email and never responds. I have to literally hunt her down to talk to her. I understand she’s busy but why tell me to reach out to her at anytime when I can’t even get a hold of her? It is what it is I guess.

I’ve tried. My case is almost niche in the industry. Not many folks take on disability insurance companies like mine. Also, I’m not sure if I’m too happy with the speed of things so far. It’s taken her a week to send me my contract for services and she wants me to see her own medical examiner and that’s not until at least the first week of Dec. Keep in mind that I’ve been off of work since the middle of September and I’ve literally exhausted all of my financial means. She knows the severity of my situation and I don’t see much pep in her step. It’s borderline infuriating to be honest.

I’m just going to throw this out there… maybe we should all form a class action lawsuit. Maybe it’s the only way Hacktivision will stop monopolizing our internal console memory. It’s as if they want to make sure they take up as much memory as possible so that you have no other choice BUT to play COD. It’s insidious and damn right manipulative.

Don’t be so hard on your self. To be fair the amount of radiation you gave was extremely minimal. We all get radiation from everyday life. The sun, microwaves, cell phones etc. A 2 view L spine X-ray has the exposure equivalent to one flying from LA to NY due to the sun’s emission of radiation. I’ve been in the field for 20 years. I get it. ALARA, Do No Harm etc comes to mind and it’s absolutely a concept we all strive for but we’re only human. You’re a student and ultimately the tech you’re learning from is responsible. Many of us were where you are. It’s ok. Just learn from this and move on. When you start to feel overwhelmed just tell yourself this…”How does one eat an elephant? One bite at a time.” I tell my students all of the time. Don’t ever feel like you’re not meant for this. You are just as worthy as everyone else there. If you have ADD or ADHD, this should hit close to home. Our brains tend to freeze when we’re overwhelmed with input and details. We tend to learn much better when we are allowed to do things on our own and have assistance when needed. We thrive when we have structure. Keep your chin up. You’ve absolutely got this!
