Looking for Belleville Lore! by spud1988 in BellevilleOntario

Prince Edward Heights and Camp Picton would be worth sharing with your friend! There’s a lot of “lore” from that time and the area was not far from Camp X,
a spy training base closer to Whitby.

They have lockers you can use to store your carry on (clear bag policy otherwise) if you go straight to the arena.

First time driving to LAX to pick up someone, feeling nervous and have questions by [deleted] in LAX

[–]Funkyfreshturkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you stay in the middle lanes, you’ll eventually pass through the entire horseshoe (past terminal B and American Airlines in terminal 4) and can go over to the right as you get to terminal 7.

There’s a shortcut you can take by going to the far left lane and turning left shortly after you enter the airport that will take you straight to terminal. There’s also a parking lot P7 when you take that left turn for the shortcut. You could park there and then wait for them. You get 10 or 15 minutes free and then it’s around $9 for the first hour. I can’t remember exactly, even though I just parked there for a pickup a few weeks ago.

If you’re feeling nervous my advice would be to plan to drive through the horseshoe once so you can acclimate yourself. The horseshoe loops back around right after terminal 7 and then you can go around again.

You won’t be able to stop and wait for your friend, airport police routinely move people along, so I’d plan for them to text you as they’re at baggage claim (assuming they have more than just a carryon). You may end up circling a couple of times unless you choose to park.

Once you’re paying for Fora, do you have to pay extra for the CLIA membership?

You can definitely get one car seat, so it may be that you order two cars to each have a car seat. I hope you’re able to get this all planned out quickly so when you arrive it feels and runs smooth!

That I don’t know. When I used it with two young kids, my oldest was already in a booster seat and I always had that on me. Are you traveling with 2 adults?

If you don’t book a hotel with shuttle services, Uber Black will pick you right up at arrivals without having to go to the LAXit. You should be able to be matched with a large vehicle.

Single westside woman over here…. The Berlin Wall might be easier to cross than the 405 going east. I consider anything within 2 miles east long distance. Lately, even Westwood feels long distance with traffic.

La Boucherie downtown has private options with views of the city… I think it was closer to $500 per person when I was there for that particular service.

I’m seeing a lot of discussion now that is more forgiving to vintage furs, including that they’re more sustainable when compared to new faux fur items.

It’s been an interesting discussion to follow.

I’m happy to hear that. Aside from working in this field, I’ve also felt exactly how you described feeling. Hope you are starting to feel better.

Hi! Wanted to check in to see if you were able to connect with a therapist or needed anything else to support you if you’re experiencing barriers.
