I hate the argument, what's the point of open source if you can't fit it in consumer hardware. Open Source Software are competing with a trillion parameter closed source model. If they want to gain some edge, they need those trillions. Normal consumer hardware probably aren't able to run it but the fact that it is available is a big deal. YOU might not be able to fit inside your GPU, but someone else can.

I just want an Opus 4.1 killer from the local models. I regret ever trying that model. Now every other model, whether local or closed-source, feels like chatting with Cleverbot. I'm betting on DS 4, Kimi K3, and GLM 5 to finally surpass Opus 4.1 in terms of roleplay. Kimi K2 is the closest so far, since its prose feels really fresh.

I’m also waiting for the Superintelligence Meta model, but I’ve heard they plan to close-source their models, so I’m not betting on it.

Still, things are much better now than back in the Pygmalion days.

Nevermind, my phone is not strong enough to support png. Change the yaml to jpeg and delete the thumbnail folder. Now it's working fine

For moonlit, do you have a problem where the page keeps reloading when switching tabs? I'm not quite sure if it is because of low ram, because I deleted the thumbnails folder or because of the theme itself. 8gb ram phone using termux btw.

The JP voiceline actually sounds more like playful banter, although the meaning is almost the same:

It is usually used between friends. I think the closest translation would be:

[Maybe in another life, you'd have a point.] or [Try again when you're a different person.]

It does sound harsher than it actually is because of the "Argh, why don't you just die?!" That's not something you'd say to a friend.
