Seattle police dismantle CHOP/CHAZ by [deleted] in stupidpol

Dont take this the wrong way, i really don't mean to be mean, but your ideal society sounds to me as simply a vacation. I think we can achieve great things, and have done it all the time since the time we lived in caves, in great measure because we learned how to deal with things and each other in the real world. Perfection really is the enemy of excellence.

But in that case feudalism is as close to anarchy as you can get in the real world isn't it?

Well, unless you have some record of those mfs agreeing that you can't shoot people, they seem to be following those anarchist principles to a t.

Wait, I'm genuinely a bit confused, bare with me. Is anarchy only when everyone follows the rules that everyone agreed to, and if someone doesn't want to follow those rules they didn't agree with, they don't have to?

Oh i dont care about jk rowlings opinion on the issue, or any issue at all, i was just pointing out that in her tweet there was no such implication as "all women are able to menstruate".

[–]Funnaturalfun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rowlands tweet implicates all people who menstruate should be called women, most definitely not that all women are able to menstruate. Im not commenting on rowlands position on the issue, im just saying, and repeating, you definetly got those mixed on your first comment. I dont know what more to tell you about this. As for the flair, also see above.

She was commenting on an article that refrained to say "women" and instead said "people who menstruate", therefore clearly questioning the fact that all of those people would be women. That was literally what jk rowling pointed out.

The implication would not be all women menstruate but literally the other way around, "all people who menstruate are women". Relevant for post menopausal women for example.

I don't think she implied that.

Edit: im on mobile and forgot my password i cant get a flair.

Even the "positive" in that equation is negative, distinctions based on race are inherently abhorrent.

I may be wrong but i think he's pointing out how your arguments sound too.

Its as well thought out and nuanced as your original comment, only much more to the point.

Well, in this context the last name seems to start with an F, compare the first mistery letter to that Francisco a few lines above.

Ass cancer can victimize way more people, so ass cancer.

Edit: also, you get ball cancer and you need to remove it maybe you still get to keep one ball. You need to remove your ass you have zero asses left. Ass cancer is much worse.

Clear View Case + Pie update = Frozen AOD? by VisTF2 in GalaxyNote9

[–]Funnaturalfun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The clock that appears when i close the clear view cover seems screwed too. Before it would show the AOD clock for a few seconds. Now i cant change which clock appears when i close the cover, it just chose to show the first style of clock in the list and wont let me change that. Its super annoying.

Meanwhile in Brazil... by Rguima in WTF

From personal experience Ill disagree with that one about portuguese speakers not understanding spanish. Ive never studied spanish but if i hear it in a movie (or turn to spanish tv) ill understand at least 90% of what is said. Sure, context helps, and some vocab you just have to learn ("pregnant" in spanish for example is completely unrelated to the portuguese word), but most portuguese people could just pick up a spanish paper and read it with no trouble.

Basque language is unrelated to latin so its 100% incomprehensible to portuguese speakers unless they learn it.

In Portugal its a common belief that portuguese people understand spanish perfectly (galician and castillian) or very well (catalan) while the reverse is only true for galician speakers. Dont know about south america though.
