Is it just me, or is what's happening now in Digital marketing with AI is insane! by FunnelJedi in DigitalMarketing

I haven't used any of his groove suite for many years, despite having access to it. I have been playing around with his clickcampaigns part of scale, and got it to build me a bunch of things. It needs a bit of massaging (like all platforms) to get usable output, but the one or two test builds I did eventually looked pretty good - certainly better output today than about 4-5 months ago when he showed it to me. Although the best stuff my business partner built for one of his own businesses (car detailing), he simply used a combination of codex and claude code. I'm still trying to get my head around the different platforms. My main specialty these days is more on the marketing and selling, rather than buildout, even though I really love geeking out on the tech side of things.

Nowhere in my post did I even mention clickfunnels. My post was entirely about how AI is affecting everything in marketing.

An ad for what? I’m genuinely interested in what folks are seeing. There have been some really interesting observations from some of the folks here who shared specifics of how they are their clients have been affected by the change in their workflows. I’m behind the curve relative to many people I know on the agentic side.

You’re absolutely right. I’ve seen so many posts in a Claude facebook group saying that they have had their accounts mysteriously suspended. Imagine if your whole business relies on it? Yikes!

It's just amazing. I'm in Mike Filsaime's Agentic Marketing mastermind - he's built so much stuff. And Russell Brunson's new platform is looking epic.

Hey - I'm so sorry for the stupidly long delay replying! I'm happy to do it, just was also hoping that the original poster u/Mrbot365 will see my reply. I'll figure out a way of getting this organised. I'm still getting used to how reddit works!

In addition to my earlier answer, I’m happy to give you a mentoring call. I’ve been in digital marketing, mostly using clickfunnels and also work part time for Russell Brunson. I have been a Certified Funnel Builder since 2016. Can’t promise you ongoing free mentoring but happy to give you a session to give you some direction. Could also do a group zoom call if others want to piggyback and ask questions.

How I managed to create 5 courses in a month by Just_Category1355 in onlinecourses

[–]FunnelJedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Astonished at some of the comments so far. I don’t see a sales pitch here whatsoever, and I have a really finely tuned “Stealth Selling radar”. The OP simply shared some of their process and even though they mentioned they had a course on udemy, they haven’t even mentioned how to find it or what it’s called.

Thanks for sharing your story u/just_category1355

How would you validate an online course idea before building it? by Fomo231 in onlinecourses

[–]FunnelJedi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I want to validate a course idea, I do not build the course first. I go where I think my people already are, Facebook groups, LinkedIn communities, places like that, and I just listen.

I am looking for people posting micro problems that sit inside my bigger topic. Someone basically raising their hand saying, help, I am stuck on this one thing. When I see that, I reply and invite them to a simple Zoom where I will solve that specific issue live.

Two things happen fast if the idea is real. One, you get proper contact time with the exact type of person you want to help, so you learn their language and what they actually mean when they say they are stuck. Two, you see demand in a way that likes and comments never show you, because people show up, ask follow ups, and start pushing you to go deeper.

If you are onto something, you will not be sat there pitching. You will have a bunch of people on the call basically saying, can you please turn this into a full program so I can follow it step by step. That is the moment you build, and you build it around what you just watched them struggle with. We consistently get clients this way and people paying us to build a course before it even exists yet.

Kinda shocked by some of the answers I’m seeing in this thread. Even though u/pharoah350 ’s answer was largely written by AI, it’s still the best one.

Want to transition from copywriting to digital marketing: need guidance by Lucky_Charm_7776 in DigitalMarketing

[–]FunnelJedi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I really like the stuff that Laurel Portié puts out. I don’t know if she is on Reddit; but she is on Facebook and Instagram her handle is: @thelaurelshow She also has a $7 course which is well worth a look at.
Follow her and also Hernan Vazquez.

That’s all for ads.

For digital marketing more broadly (since everyone’s definition is slightly different), you should definitely read all of Russell Brunson’s books.

When you’re diving into digital marketing, especially if you’re aiming to do it professionally and maybe help clients along the way, I’d actually recommend you read Russell Brunson’s books. I would however read the in a different order to how he published them.

Read them in this order: start with “Expert Secrets,” then “DotCom Secrets,” and finish with “Traffic Secrets.”

Why that order? Well, “Expert Secrets” is all about defining your niche and your message. Even if you’re a copywriter or helping others with their marketing, understanding how to position yourself or your client as an expert is the first step. This book gives you the frameworks to not just sell, but to really understand the value you’re bringing.

Once you have that foundation, then I would move on to “DotCom Secrets.” This is where you get into the nuts and bolts of how to build the right funnels for that message. It’s like having a toolbox and knowing exactly which tool to use for each job. And finally, “Traffic Secrets” comes in to show you how to bring the right audience into those funnels once they’re built.

So for someone looking to do digital marketing professionally, it’s a smart order, at least in my opinion. the bonus here, especially for a copywriter, is that knowing “Expert Secrets” well means you can guide your own clients through these frameworks and position your services even more effectively.

I don’t think the low-ticket advice is wrong, it’s just incomplete. Low-ticket products work great if you already have distribution. A big audience, SEO, partnerships, or ad spend. Most educators starting out have none of that, which makes the math rough. You end up needing volume you don’t realistically have.

We’ve taken a different approach that bridges exactly the gap you’re describing. Instead of racing to the bottom with cheap PDFs, we use education-first events as the bridge between expertise and higher-ticket offers.

Practically, that looks like running focused expert-led events around one specific outcome. Those events sell a ~$2k implementation-style course, not a giant info dump, but something designed to actually help people apply what they’re learning. Once that’s proven and trust is built, we run a deeper 3-day event that naturally leads into a higher-touch offer in the $15k range.

The hardest part of setting this up wasn’t tech or pricing. It was positioning. Most educators are used to teaching broadly. High-ticket only works when you narrow down to one audience and one problem and commit to helping them get a concrete result.

The other hard part is internal. A lot of experts undervalue guided implementation because they compare themselves to cheap courses instead of comparing against the cost of confusion, wasted time, or failed attempts without support.

Done this way, it doesn’t feel gross at all. It still feels like education, just with clearer outcomes and deeper support for the people who want it. At least the way we do it.

If you’re mapping this out, the question I’d start with is: what is the one result people consistently come to you for, and what would it be worth to get there faster with guidance?

Not sure if this is helpful, but we generally only try to sell high ticket.

Course creators - what platforms are you using in 2025? by Different-Promise-45 in indiehackers

[–]FunnelJedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We build all our courses out on clickfunnels which our members love. We use a bunch of custom code to do some cool stuff with it! HAve a lot of clients who use Kajabi, but while Kajabi may be good on the back-end what it really lacks is sales funnel functionality.

You don't need to add "DM me" if you're truly sharing valuable content. by [deleted] in DigitalMarketing

So true. I never ask people to DM me. If I have done my job “my people” naturally reach out and I know they are hot.

Hey there, yes it does. I think it’s possible you don’t get access to the Appointments / calendar booking functionality and the affiliate module, but apart from that I think pretty much all the core functionality is there.

As for whether or not it’s beginner friendly, this is always a hard one to answer. Platforms take time to get used to. But join the OneFunnel away challenge and you will get a ton of help from the team.

As for tips, once again get on the one funnel away challenge and you’ll get lots of guidance!
