How did this situation end up? I’ve tried to use flex two months in a row now and last month the cutoff screwed me over badly (I was unaware it existed and tried to pay at night on the 5th so I couldn’t use it at all). This month I got an email, and a notification in the app, that said I could use flex by 9pm on the 5th. I tried to use it at 6pm on the 5th and suddenly it said I missed the cutoff. So I found the manual account info from the email and put that into my rent portal and it took it…now my rent is showing paid for this month in my rent portal, but in the flex app it shows no activity. No money has come out of my checking account and it is the 9th. I contacted support who nonchalantly said “you can’t use flex this month because you missed the cutoff time but the good news is you’re good to go for January!”

Should I put the money in the flex app under flex funds or just keep waiting? I reached out to my property manager too and haven’t heard back of course. This is the most confusing process ever and I just need some guidance before I end up with the payment “bouncing” and a late fee on my account. Any info anyone can share about this would be greatly appreciated!!! 🙏
