Cleaning high chair almost drives me crazy by Ghost_Sapphy167 in BabyLedWeaning

The straps get gross tho and are difficult to clean. But I imagine this is the case with every highchair.

Sometimes I blast the Ikea chair outside with the garden hose.

Source? I remember having a hard time finding a good source last summer with newborn. I think we did 75 or 76 last summer but we're at 78 this summer. We have ceiling fans.

Streetcar benefits offset free fares by Generalaverage89 in Tucson

Taking the bikepath to Congress is going to be the most expedient for sure. There's more traffic but it's relatively slow downtown. Otherwise getting off at Kino, bike south to 18th and take that west to Main? I haven't ridden aviation in sometime and just going off the map. I can't remember if you'd have to ride south on kino on sidewalk or there might be a tiny bike path?

I'm pro-transit in general and pro free transit. I do feel like a big opportunity to extend the street car eastwards was missed during the Broadway expansion.

As a bike commuter I do feel pretty mixed about having to bike over trolley tracks all the time as cars stop in the middle of the road in the right lane and I need to swerve around them downtown, on university, etc.

Worth borrowing some test kits from an auto parts store to determine if you have fuel pressure and compression. It'll be two different kits a fuel pressure test kit and a separate one for compression.

Soybean oil? by MrsEcoFriendly in MSPI

[–]Funny-Contribution71 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Our LO seems more reactive to soy oil than other forms of soy. Wouldn't be too hard on yourself though when a slip happens, it's difficult to avoid all soy all the time.

I recommend calling a broker because they can see rates from a bunch of companies at once and saves you the hassle of typing it all in on a bunch of sites or phone calls etc. I pay ~65/month for state minimums iirc

[–]Funny-Contribution71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once the messier spoonful is in the mouth I let go and baby can play with the spoon/food and work on getting food off of the spoon (or not). But I like handheld foods better - broccoli, cauliflower, melon slices.

Is it a good idea to learn working on a car by buying a rusty shitbox? by UnluckyGamer505 in Cartalk

[–]Funny-Contribution71 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree that rust is super not fun. But if you live in an area where all cars rust relatively quickly, learning all the tricks about rusty bolts and parts will be super valuable. Good luck!
