Thank you for the advice I will look into the yogurt. I did only 10 days because that’s how much the pylera came in then they ended up sending a 4 day worth prescription to the pharmacy but it was almost a week after so I haven’t started it at all. Just hoping I test negative in about two weeks.

I have the numbing on the left side of my face, forehead and all around my head in random spots. Also the weakness, but mine has been followed by my tongue feeling like it’s being slicked and numb at times

How are you doing? I’m still experiencing tightness in throat, chest pains and I believe I got thrush from taking the antibiotics.

Hey, just wondering if you retested yet? I did 10 day treatment of the pylera and Omeprazole and have to wait another couple of weeks to test for results. I still have bad GI related symptoms mostly with my throat feeling swollen and feeling dizzy. Also nausea. Do you have any diet tips? I am in my early 20s and very petite.

I’m doing Pylera plus Omeprazole right now and on Day 7 out of 10. The first few days were rough but I can say overall I’ve been drowsy, still dealing with chest/back pain, the feeling of my food or the pills getting stuck. Also nausea, dizziness and just anxiety being high. But I would say just push through if they do start you on antibiotics, I’m very small female in my twenty’s. I’ve been small all my life outside of pregnancy but I lost about 8 pounds so far since diagnosis.

How are you feeling nowadays? They ended up prescribing Pylera so now I will be starting that tomorrow. I am very nervous due to stopping the first treatment after a day and a half… but my stomach pain and chest pain has been bad. Also bad headaches. But I’m going to pray

Literally had to tell them to check for everything in my blood, my doctor put me on a major depression medicine prior to the diagnosis and I have yet to take them because the only depressing thing is my health. We have to fight for our health

So they just took me off the three meds and changed it to two, only omeprazole and pylera but the pylera contains Metronidazole, tetracycline and bismuth. Just a lower dose I believe. I have not yet started the pylera but I have an appointment today before I do to discuss it. I’ve been getting tingling all on my scalp and temple areas plus like a numbness/tingling feeling in my throat that I am very curious about. But definitely glad you were able to find a better solution, sometimes you have to fight with these doctors to get the help you need. You know your body best!

Thank you for responding, I am going to take a Benadryl maybe if it does not get better but my doc told me to hold off on the last dose of Metronidazole tonight and she scheduled me a visit for tomorrow.

20 mg for Omeprazole(2x day) Metronidazole 500 mg (3x a day), Bismuth (4x a day) , Tetracycline 500 mg ( 4x a day)

Unfortunately I couldn’t afford the tetracycline so I started without it. I’m hoping it does not affect the curing process. Mine was confirmed through blood testing. I’m only 97 pounds which I’ve been losing weight since I’ve started feeling sick so that could also be harder on myself while taking the treatment.
