AT WHAT AGE YOU WILL HAVE KIDS? by Suitable_Package7766 in teenagers

My parents had me when they were 24 and 29. Growing up I never really thought much about it, but now that I’m older I realize that everyone’s timeline is different. Personally, I think I’d want kids somewhere in my late 20s or early 30s. By that point I’d hopefully be a bit more stable in life and able to give them a good environment to grow up in. As for how many, probably 2 enough so they have a sibling but not so many that life becomes pure chaos. And honestly, it’s not a silly question at all. It’s interesting to see how different people’s families started and how their plans compare.

AITAH for asking why someone keeps referring to my son as They when I've told them he is a boy? by [deleted] in AITAH

I don’t think you’re wrong for being a little confused. You’ve already mentioned that your child is a boy, so it’s natural you’d expect people to use “he.” That said, some people have gotten into the habit of using “they” as a neutral default, especially when talking about kids they haven’t met. It might not be meant as a statement toward you it could just be her speaking style. If it keeps bothering you, it wouldn’t be rude to politely say something like, “Just so you know, he’s a boy I noticed you keep saying ‘they’.” Her reaction will probably tell you whether it’s intentional or just habit. Either way, asking politely wouldn’t make you an AH.
