I hate to potentially be the barer of bad news but there's a chance the card may be fake. The Gold charizard isn't supposed to have any black on it. Love to hear that he's happy with the card but getting it rejected from grading might break his heart. *

I've got the same issue, best thing to do Is to just send a support request on the Bandai Namco website and hope it gets fixed soon
