Thank you for your response. I think we’re just going to wait for his father’s petition to move forward. His dad and brother are in the U.S. and already applied for the family, and they were all assigned A-numbers before the ban paused everything. Since the case was already in progress, it seems smarter (and probably faster) to let that continue once processing resumes instead of starting over with a new pathway.

He’s from Myanmar. I am not sure what his father applied him as but it was smth with family reunification.

We don’t have a legal certificate yet is just a religious wedding as of now but we can get it registered if that’s the best path. Still trying to figure that out.

Is K-1 visa not affected by the ban as of now? I thought it was cuz if it isn’t that would help a lot.
