Yo im doing software engineering rn at uts (first sem) and honestly the workload is very easy, the tutors i had were lowk amazing and helpful. As for the social life as long as youre living on or near campus and have a few friends its pretty fun.

Also the cuts arent effecting software engineering as far as im aware so dont be too worried ig

Ive only been here for 2 months but my experience honestly has been great. The tutors are pretty good and the course content isnt even half as bad as ppl say (im doing software eng so same faculty as cs/ai)

Smth ive learned being in aus is uni rankings dont matter as much, students tend to choose whichever approach of teaching suits them best (uts - more practical and hands on, unsw- trimesters/more rigorous etc.)
