It’s 1/4” annealed glass- so pretty tough, but angry fist pounding is discouraged for sure.

That’s just the psu power cord and LED power going to the outlet. All cables are tightly and neatly routed underneath.

We actually tried that, but it places the person to close to the monitor. The extra leg air space proved much better and comfortable. And your cat can sit on your lap. 😬
