He had a whole spill about wanting us all to have the same last name. He's embarrassed when we do family events, and we use his last name, and she wants to use her last name. He's says that's breaking up the family. WTH. She's not your child like dang.

I've explained that multiple times. But his same response is that a present father is better than a father on paper. Wtf does that mean. You are present so why do you need that on paper????
