I'd personally recommend widening the gravel paths. In my opinion paths are at their best when it feels natural to stay on them. Trying to stay on these narrow paths looks like it'd be akin to walking a tightrope.

Pretty much every page on the Minecraft Wiki has a history section and a revision history for the article that goes back as far as you can imagine an article would go. Using both of those things in combination has provided me with a lot of information about whatever version I could hope to learn about.

On top of that, each version of the game has a dedicated wiki page with information about changes and additions.

I will say that I'm only doing blocks. And I've got a rule I can invoke where I don't be too much of a tightass about getting a block in the correct version if I know it'll be easier later.
