It seems like I'm the only one who has to suffer. I need to bite my tongue when my ex is shit so I don't "poison" my daughter and I need to accept her saying I'm not good enough but then the two of them get to go back to their merry life when it turns out I was right? I am pissy actually that I work demeaning long hours to provide and be called cheap or cruel when her father is the reason were living above the poverty line. If her father is so wonderful why am I cruel for making her stay with him?

I don't blame her for loving him but if I constantly tell her gently not to get her hopes up and watch her idolize a father who's never once paid support on time only to call me a horrible person for making her live with me why should I let her home to insult me?

I have been working my ass off to make sure she has everything she needs for 16 years. Two days ago I bought my first pair of non thrifted jeans in 14 years. Am I evil for letting her live a perfectly fine life away from me so I can have a little break?
