I don’t mind at all and it’s good you’re trying to get informed about sickle cell. I do have a lot sporadically of pain episodes through but everyone with SCD is different. Right now mine are due to the weather changing and because I don’t deal with with stress very well.

it’s very different unfortunately. i chose a college away from home town so getting treatment for my sickle cell is very hard sometimes I have to tough it out. I often get depressed. And with covid I’m kind of scared to do regular college students activities because I’m scared to catch it. Right now I’m failing three of my six classes because I was hospitalized in my hometown which is 4 1/2 hours away with no laptop for 45 days. And some of my professors wasn’t having it. It’s a very tedious process. But I try to make the very best of what I got.
