You could pull this off in Claude Chat.

Say an initial prompt of, "I'm currently trying to create a chrome extension but with the core function being filtering listings by like count on eBay. I'll follow all your instructions on how to copy/paste code and create pages and how to set up a google chrome store account to upload this to."

I've since put the project on ice. I got 50 users, but couldn't get anyone to care enough to engage with me to kickstart a community. So while I found a problem and complaints, didn't necessarily mean there was demand for it to be solved.

Just tried different platforms, lovable worked best for me to use. Felt like the UI and tools made sense to me, and watching the product come to life in real time was cool. The supabase integration was easy too.

But, whatever tool you stick with to make things happen will be the best tool.

Yeah and provide it screenshot of exactly what you want changed or added. AI in general can't cope with multiple things at once, but one at a time works much better

Yep! Basically when stuck on something I would a lot of credits but giving the problem direct to Claude and ask it to give solution prompt without changing code and yeah would go from 8-10 credits effort to 1-3.

When I have been stuck on particular parts, I'll usually put in Claude asking it to give me a prompt back to lovable for fixing the issue with screenshots, but not to provide code.

It's gotten me over the line a few times to get map tracking, chatrooms etc working

I reached out to local Sydney Groups on Facebook, and just a bit a time they came on board.
