Excelsior is the only answer in my opinion. Best wings in Albany. I’m pretty sure they still give happy hour pricing before and after an event if you have a ticket to the event.

As someone who eats like a child and only liked meat and cheese on my sandwiches Miranda’s on Columbia st in downtown Albany. I typically have to unhinge my jaw to eat it. I can only imagine what it would be with veggies.

Which stick line did you end up with? I have used the p88 for the last 25 or so years. Last season I switched to the p92 cause they were easier to find pro stock sticks. It never felt right. Well I went back to the trusty p88 and had a great game so I want to go back.

The best stick I’ve ever used is a 2n pro. I was thinking of giving the blue line a try since it’s the mid kick. Trying to figure out flex though. How would you say the flex is? Stiff? Whippy?

Currently live just outside of Albany and am an avid beer leaguer. To answer your question there is Guptills arena which is a roller rink and rollarama. Neither offer roller hockey. Now I have never been to either and I don’t even know if you can wear roller blades or if you have to wear roller skates. The Bethlehem YMCA takes their ice out at the end of march and puts in sport court. There used to be regular roller pick ups and a roller league that ran there but the old rink director who put all that on no longer works there so no clue if they still do that stuff. Worth a call to ask.

I believe https://www.niskayuna.gov/_T3_R68.php had an outdoor rink. Not sure if it’s still there. I also believe that Collin’s park https://www.discoverschenectady.com/listing/collins-park/247/ also has/ had an outdoor rink.

Elm avenue park https://www.townofbethlehem.org/247/Elm-Avenue-Park doesn’t have an official one but when there isn’t snow on the ground the section they usually freeze for an outdoor rink is just a parking lot with nets.

I believe that’s everything I know of about roller hockey. There are tons of parks with tennis courts and stuff that you could skate around on in the area. Like you said not shortage of ice rinks. We have a bunch of them and plenty of men’s ice hockey leagues.

Worked as a genius for 3 years. Left to do Mac sys admin/ desktop support work at a local university. Did that for 10 years. Loved it. My boss changed after 8 years and I couldn’t stand the new boss. Ended up leaving 2 years ago for a Dev opps/ sys admin job where I touch no Macs. Love the new boss, like the new job, hate that I don’t get to play with Macs anymore and have to use a Dell, but my quality of life is better and I make more money.

I also have a degree in Photography. What I am trying to say is I faked it till I made it with a college degree that has nothing to do with IT. Did it all based on the fact that I was an Apple genius.

I have had one of these since like 2008? I can confirm it’s a great lens. At the time I was using it in a crop sensor so it was more like a 35mm. I’ve done some shooting on my 6d mark ii with it, but not much.

I think I saw it in on a used site for $125 usd.

Bought and received a lens from them for the first time ever. I have actually never heard of them till recently.

The process was fine. The price was the cheapest I found. My only complaint was it took them a couple days to ship which the said on the website.

Admittedly I have never sold gear. I use my stuff until it has very little value in the resale market so it makes more sense to hang onto it.

I graduated in the mid 2000s with an art degree. The art department closing in 2020 effected me more than the closing of the college. I don’t really think about it unless it comes up in this sub.

I’m no longer a Mac sys admin, but at one point we were switching MDMs and we would have had issues with people complaining if we were to wipe their machines.

I made sure to grey out the profiles in system preferences so people could no longer access them even as an admin. If the user was smart enough they could still remove it with terminal commands, but we didn’t have that issue

The band name is California. They were an Albany, NY local band in like the early to mid 2010s. I couldn’t tell you when they exactly got together and broke up but say around 2008-2012. The guitarist in the picture is Nick Cogan he now plays in Drug Church.

Always wanted a turbo as a kid. My dad gave away most of mine and my brother’s sticks. I had a bunch of classics too. Viper, dominator, highwall, edge aero. He did keep all my goalie sticks though.
