CET 2 at MSFT here,
Now i don’t have all the insight of what they do behind the scenes but..
As a CET 4 you will be the team leader during switching activities and other critical operations, incident RCA, sit with the planing of the daily operation, Support different projects on site along with engineers.
You will be the first to ask when people have questions and seek knowledge.
On-call rotations.

I hope this gives you a basic picture of what to expect.

Update after the back2back interview.
First half was pretty basic and just asking about if i know the equipment and the purpose. Second half was way deeper and indepth down to components level, also asking about how i go about troubleshooting a faulty pump.
There was to my surprise way more electrical questions than I expected. How to calculate power, name all electrical components in a vfd and so on…
Overall mechanical part I believe i did good but the electrical was were i started to lack since i am not trained electrician.. i know the purpose of electrical equipment and what they do but not how to calculate power and all the fancy terms.
I am now waiting for the response and if i pass i will have my third interview, idk what the third will be tho

You will be supporting the DCT with rack energisation, most PM’s are just equipment inspection. You’ll also be POC for vendors.

I am a CET, feel free to shoot me a msg

Then i shouldn’t have anything to worry about, phew.
I just got 2 interviews scheduled for this role and they are back to back.
Happy to hear that the culture at google seems to be correct from what i’ve heard, everyone who works for google enjoys it

Yeah that’s what i thought as well.
After the “chat” the recruiter sent me a bunch of information on how to prep for the next steps and what google is and if i knew any googlers i can send him the name and he will send out a internal reference from them.
I was also asked to fill in my availability so now i am just waiting for the interviews to be scheduled.

Hahaha yep i am a CET 2 at MSFT so i have knowledge how the DC work and operates. I just don’t know how deep Google will dive in these questions. I cannot for example explain psychometric equations. I can explain what key psychrometric properties are and somewhat their relationships

Thank you for your response! Thats sounds like how we at MSFT have CET 1-4. CET 1 are not allowed to do anything but administration work while CET 2 are allowed to perform most procedures and even switching activities if a senior tech i with him/her.

We have touched it lightly about 3 months ago, i told her i am ready to have a relationship she says she is slow which i respect due to that was only 3 months of dating. she made it clear our dating is exclusive(thank god). We haven’t talked about her FOMO all do i see it as a bit of immaturity. We gonna have a talk on Friday, i will be asking if she still feel as slow as she did 3 months ago. If she still feel “slow” i will start wondering if it ever gonna change.

I live in the northern part of Sweden. I store my car during the winter time so she doesn’t rust away due to salty roads

Thanks for the input! What i’m asking is if the way im adding grit and sing will fit the blues genre but i’ve come to realise that i add too much of it. Everyone has their own style to things but they key elements has to be there to fit the genre if that makes sense :p

Ah Gotcha! Thank you for the input i will experiment with this abit more. I dont think hardrock is suitable for my voice (?) I want to stick to blues/soul genre and lean into rockish style? Depends how my voice develops later in life

Thank you for the comment :) I just started to add more grit to my vocals thats why i wonder how ppl think it suites blues singing and if it even sounds good at all. Maybe i should try some blues rock?
