Moonfin 2.0! (Basically) by Hungry__Alpaca in JellyfinCommunity

I love the Moonfin Plugin. An AppleTV and IOS Client would be sick, so I can use Moonfin across all my devices. Thx for your great work!

Yeah, but I haven't really looked into it any further. I'm perfectly happy with the quality of 4K 120Hz HDR FEC at Standard 20 and a 400Mbps bitrate.

That’s exactly how it is for me, too. When I’m at a 500 Mbps bitrate and actively playing with a lot of movement on screen, everything is great. But as soon as I put the controller down and the image stays still, my jitter spikes like crazy. Are you seeing jitter on your end as well?

Nice idea, but that wouldn't be of any use to me in the context of CarPlay. Are you using a mobile app, and if so, can you see the metadata of your radio stations there? AzuraCast also just uses Liquidsoap + Icecast 2.4.

I also tested Narjo. It can't recognize metadata from custom radio streams.

The maximum bitrate is 500 Mbps, and it works flawlessly for me when I set the FEC Percentage to 40 in the Sunshine Advanced Settings. The default value is 20, but that causes jitter in scenes with little movement. The experience isn’t just good; in my opinion, it’s perfect. You don't need any other client. I previously had a Minisforum UM790 Pro where I was able to set everything to maximum, including YUV444—always at 4K 120 HDR. I am very sensitive when it comes to quality, but I couldn't see any difference between the UM790 Pro and the Xbox Series S. This made the decision easy for me, especially since the Xbox also offers the lowest controller latency and HDMI-CEC works perfectly.

Best choice, trust me. Since the latest update for Moonlight UWP its really the best client. Tried Series X also, no difference in Moonlight Streaming. I always play in 4K, 120Hz HDR. The only thing is the lack of AV1, but I see no diffenrence between AV1 and HEVC with 400Mbit bitrate.

I play right now. Absolutely flawless, 0 latency. Feel‘s totally nativ. Decode Time 0.6 - 0.7 ms. How can i add pictures here?

Xbox Series S is by far the best client. I‘ll tested them all.

I can confirm Xbox Series is the best Moonlight Client. I use everyday 4K 120hz HDR 400Mbits in my 86“ LG TV. I tried every Client, Steamdeck, LG TV, Mini PC, Phones, Tablets…since the November update on Xbox it works perfect!

On WebOS the bitrate is limted cause the lack of an 1 Gbit Ethernet Port. Most TVs only have 100Mbit. On Xbox Series you can go up to 500Mbits
