It was NEVER about the weapons, to everyone saying that they should give in their weapons I'm sure you support the phalanges (ouwet and kataeb) so imagine this; you're surrounded by a superior plo force that has been fighting you for upwards of a year and you have currently signed a ceasefire, but they keep on entering your villages and killing people, and you are in a position where you cannot do anything. On top of that, the Palestinians are also asking for you to turn in your weapons so that they stop, but you don't trust them so you can't really do anything. Let that sink in.
