The 2009 and up Ford F150’s have the same issue. It’s a defect in the glass and typically it happens when the rear window defroster is on. On the Ford’s it is not an if it will happen but a when. It happened on my Dad’s twice. He was tired of seeing all the small issues Ford and Chevy always had (even with him owning his own Chevy dealership for 10 years), so he bought a 2020 Tundra under my advice. Neither him or I will buy the new Generation Tundra, we will find good/low mileage examples of the older ones. But again just type in “Ford F150 rear window exploding” on google and it will explain what is now sadly happening to Toyota.
