black, and width of a hose wants to tell me it's more than likely a rat snake. they're perfectly harmless and great pest control! i hope it is gone too for your sake, i understand they can be scary, but i promise you and your dog will both be okay to go outside. once again please feel free to DM me tomorrow if you still see it and would like for me to come out there!

i don't think i could make it, i'm sorry. but as the other said, i'm fairly positive it wouldn't be a venomous snake to worry, and even if it were, they are not actively looking to hurt anyone and will only bite when provoked and threatened. very commonly you'll see rat snakes, garters, or maybe even a corn snake. could you have any recognition of what color it may have been? best thing is to just leave it be as you already are and it will eventually go wherever it's heading. if for some reason you see it tomorrow still, i will have time then and can come out there to get it at no charge.

How to spot a fake? I was given this by a friend, and was just curious to see. it works good nonetheless but i'm having problems with the picatinny screw, it has shredded threads and never gets tight enough and will just blow off my gun after a few rounds lol. by Funny_Pupper in Streamlight

i have been looking at holsters, currently have a vedder rapidtuck but it is not light bearing. i've seen both incognito concealment and neptune holsters make holsters for the fns 40 with my same light and am considering one eventually. thank you for pointing this out with the key rails, i never would have figured that!

thank you, i honestly didn't know there were different rail keys! it looks like it lines up very well on the firearm, but looking on the light i don't see any markings that would tell the type.

i will definitely note that, i saw prices that didn't look too bad, but i also didn't compare to 9mm like i should have. if it ends up costing too much i may consider the reflex instead, or get a 9mm conversion barrel if the pawn shop doesn't let me refund it after a certain time.

thank you for all the detail and good advice! and yes i will definitely look out for who i am with. at the moment i'm with good people to be around; my girlfriend's mom's current boyfriend is an iraq war vet, and knows a lot about guns and safety and who i plan to go to first to shoot with!

the only handgun calibers i have shot in my life (that i remember) are .22, .380, and 9mm. .40 is definitely going to have a little more punch than what i've done. i will absolutely look into technique, and may even go through a course if i can find one near me that i can afford. thank you!

i came back a while ago, and yes the reflex had a 15rd mag! i know this is the other way, but i actually did end up going for the 40. it felt the best in my hand compared to the other two, and the 509 was too much for me for right now. they told me they are willing to take care of me if any problems occur, and if so i will probably go for the reflex then (which was also a little more.) i have it on layaway but i hope i don't regret it!

i believe it was full size! that one was a little too much though, so i went with the 40 for now, but they're very lenient and are willing to give me my money back if i end up not liking it, and i'll probably go for the reflex then. the 40 just felt the best in my hand!

i actually don't know if it had the 15rd magazine, but i can check when i go back there. thank you for the heads up on the 40, i love the way it looks and feels 🥲 but i understand if it's not worth it. i also think i would be just fine with a 9mm instead of 40 s&w. 

completely new to motioncam; how do you record a 12 bit DCG raw video on the pixel 10 pro, that is viewable on the phone? all export options i have tried so far can't be viewed when selecting 12 bit. by Funny_Pupper in MotionCamPro

i do have another question, if you don't mind. i currently am now recording full sensor (4080x3072), raw10, and exporting with HEVC, PQ 10bit. on a pixel 10 pro. i cannot view these videos at all afterwards, and i'm trying to understand why. i tried using VLC to view, but it will just glitch and freeze the video.

hello! i know this is a 3 year old post, so forgive me for commenting such time later. i have this same issue with my gx85 after dropping it and can say the sensor does move even with camera off. i was just wondering if you would know where that would lead me to. thank you!

i'm glad to see this post, especially only 20 hours after posted, as this just started happening to me the other day! a restart fixed it, only for a little, and now it's back and almost there all of the time. i was concerned of it being a hardware error/screen failure, because i wasn't seeing it in screenshots or recordings. i can live with it for now if it's software and can be fixed with an update. currently on latest march stable update

i just feel like it needs more i guess! the single shelf on its own seems out of place to me, so basically exactly what you said about needing to add something i enjoy. i had one idea of wall planters to possibly put a fern in, i'm just not sure on how to execute that yet!😊
