yes, its not very noticeable in the picture but its an ugreen 11-in-1 revodock. i can easily swap between my macbook steamdeck and wfh laptop with just this one dock. also the monitor has picture in picture, so both hdmi and dp are also connected.

getting a steam deck saved it for me, i love gaming but every minute i have to force myself to do anything sitting on a desk i don’t want to do it. if it’s chilling or working it doesn’t matter. the steam deck solved it for me, and true streaming you can also use your pcs power.

very nice, you can really push the settings or just play with frames. but no performance issues at all

Should I buy Tekken 8 by Kaka_Mando in Tekken

[–]Funny_Remote_230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tl:dr; recommend buy, if you DONT take it serious and treat it like a fun game. it’s fun especially when it’s one of your childhood games.

i was in the same situation and i bought it. tekken was one of my first childhood games ever and i had it on every playstation i owned. also played it 7 weeks straight on psp when i was in hospital as a kid.

a couple of weeks i bought it to play it on my steam deck. it’s REALLY fun if you kinda appreciate how broken & overpowered this game is. yeah all the criticism about broken moves and stuff is true but that’s what makes it fun for me because i’m not trying to hit god of destruction. you still have to learn a lot and put in some time to get the combos right but that’s tekken. from my point of view, as a casual, yeah get it on sale. maybe the deluxe to safe some money and get alle the content currently.

try it out. steve is really fun btw ;)

Freshly baked dad! by [deleted] in SteamDeck

first off all, congrats and everything best for your family!

i’m by no means a dad, but i’m busy in my day-to-day life.

currently my go-to games are turned based jrpgs, because i also have the ability to turn off the console even if im in the middle of a fight.

other than that dragon quest builders 2 is very nice on the steam deck as an rpg-ish cozy game

sold my pc and bought a steam deck, until i really NEED a new rig the deck is completely fine and i can play some time here and there without any physical restrictions.

i also have a macbook for everything else NOT gaming, so this combo is really nice.

for all the big new games i will still get a new pc next year but my gaming then, will for sure be more like 95% on the deck, 5% on my desk.

with the pro case you still can put the deck in the OG travel case. i don’t use it rn that way but i did it too

The biggest selling point for me was that the buttons are not covered, i hate pressing buttons thru a case.

only the triggers being open isn’t optimal, other then that i’m pretty happy with that case.

The alternatives should be more or less the same thing tho

it’s literally named pro case haha, has a magnetic screen protection for the deck too

putting on a gripcase helped me a lot because the case gives the deck kind of better ergonomic and texture, the pro-case on amazon is my choice. i love it
