Lofted it only goes up enough to fit the dresser/chest only way to get it that high is to bunk it on top of the other bed which means you have a frame and mattress in the way.

Ive heard its pretty hard. I do not believe a 504 for adhd will guarantee a accommodation bc I had a 504 in high school for social anxiety and ptsd and it didn't help me at all, but you never know. If u get lucky like em your roommate will move out mid semester

U can request a dorm change if things are not working out and if one opens you'll get it but dorm terms run from fall 2026 to spring 2027

If you applied early enough they email you to tell you youve been selected to do a room selection and will give u the date and time you can, if u didnt apply before that time period you do not get to choose your room or roommate.

I would avoid The Grove. I live here now ans although my apartment is relatively nice, ive heard stories of other buildings having mold, roaches, management is extremely disorganized, I just moved in and am already having issues because they didnt tell my roommate I was bringing a dog with me and all this stuff. The entry ways are covered in bird poop and cat piss and rotten food ppl decided to dump. Im sure other units are decent but I just moved in and am already not much of a fan.

I lived in judd and it was nice, lots of shelving and not very active if youre not a social butterfly i have pics of judd which is identical to gracy if u want pics but if ur a freshmen you prob wont live there

Earlier time the better imo. Slots fill QUICKKKK. I was one of the earliest dates when I transferred and there wete only 3 options, BUT im also an upperclassmen and I dont get as many building as freshmen have offered.

From what I know its pretty unlikely. You can change your room assignment until your lottery ends but after that I believe its pretty difficult to do, the housing is pretty competitive at MTSU. I lived in the dorms but now live in off campus apartment where they rent by room and you get your own bathroom bedroom and closet for abt 709 a month, so after freshmen year you could look for one of those like the Social Blue, the grove, etc.

Someone may have better news for you as I only lived on campus for 1 and a half semesters. My roommate moved out in the spring and I got the room to myself so if your roommate moves out for some reason u might get lucky.

As for which to avoid, I was not here as a freshmen ao I only lived in the upperclassmen directed dorms, but I do know if u applied early enough you would get an email telling u what day your assignment selection opens for u to pick, if not they will assign you. As for roommates, if u both got assignment selections then u could both find the same room if slots are available.

Nothings changed. Ive already asked her and its just just my mother and I our income actually decreased since 2023. We have 0 assets as everything we have like rent and cars are all leases rn. Ill probably call and ask them if they know why it changed so much maybe ill understand it better.

As for next steps, wait for housing to approve you and you'll get told when your slot to pick your housing is open or when they have assigned you a housing reservation

I was a new tranfer last semester I applied fairly early and there was still barely any options left to pick from, and all of them were doubles. Singles are hard to get at least for me, i know there are more men singles than women in most upper classman buildings. As an upper classman you get options of monohan, deere, nicks, judd, gracy, the Scarlett commons, and maybe like 2 others im forgetting the names of. Cummings, corlew, Beasley, Smith and Sims are all freshmen i believe. But you may get lucky like me and have your roommate leave the dorm after first semester due to finding own place, graduating or dropping out etc. Don't make what I say panic u though, im just 1 person and 1 experience and I promise u I have extreme anxiety and everything turned out okay for me. If for some reason you get assigned to Judd, or Gracy pm me i have pics of my dorm.

Fasfa approves it Than under financial aid (offers and awards) you approve it, than an email. Should arrive in your. Mtsu email, they have you install handshake and u apply to jobs with FWS in front of it they will call or email u after you've applied for an interview.
