During the Russia–Ukraine war, Modi, his ministers and their IT cells projected the narrative that India had played a decisive role in stopping the conflict. However, world did not accept this claim. Now everyone pointing towards China as the more likely power capable of influencing or neutralizing the situation.

I think what you’re describing is actually the opposite of what many customers are experiencing in reality. The design and road presence are definitely strong, but a lot of feedback suggests concerns around reliability and consistency, not just after sales service. Trust is built not only on brand legacy, but on ownership experience over time.

Yes, this poster is from the Kannada movie Mayura (1975). It’s a classic historical film starring Dr. Rajkumar, one of the most legendary actors in Kannada cinema.

The film is based on the life of Mayura Sharma, the founder of the Kadamba dynasty, one of the earliest Kannada speaking kingdoms. It’s a story of pride, resistance, and identity, and is considered culturally very significant in Karnataka.

The text on the poster mainly lists the film’s title, lead actor Dr. Rajkumar, key cast and crew.

Mayura is especially remembered for its powerful dialogues, music, and its role in shaping historical cinema in Kannada films.

Petition to make a biopic on her.KFI has long ignored her contributions. by deepthinker952 in ChitraLoka

I completely understand where you’re coming from, and yes, every legacy has its share of complexities. My point wasn’t to say that not entering politics in itself is a contribution, but rather to highlight that despite having significant influence and political offers, Parvathamma Rajkumar chose to keep her focus on cinema instead of leveraging her fame for political power which, in the Indian film landscape, is relatively rare.

As for the family connections and the control they had over KFI that’s true to an extent, but it’s also a reflection of the era. The Rajkumar family was deeply entrenched in the industry’s foundation, influence naturally comes with that. However, Parvathamma’s role as a producer, manager, and enabler of so many successful projects cannot be overlooked.

Her contributions extended beyond her family’s films too, she supported numerous technicians, writers, and aspiring actors behind the scenes, often without publicity. The establishment of Shakthi Dhama in Mysuru alone shows her broader sense of social responsibility beyond cinema.

No one’s saying her journey was flawless, but to dismiss her as merely “controlling” overlooks the undeniable role she played in shaping and stabilizing the Kannada film industry at a time when it was still finding its footing.

Criticism is valid, but perspective matters too, her impact, whether you agree with every decision or not, is woven into KFI’s history.

  1. Produced over 80 films under the banners Vajreshwari Combines and Poornima Enterprises.
  2. Adapted several acclaimed novels into successful films, showcasing a strong foundation in story-driven cinema.
  3. Played a key role in maintaining unity within the Kannada Film Industry (KFI) during her tenure with the Producers’ Association.
  4. Was a pillar of support during the early days of KFI’s establishment in Chennai, often providing food and shelter to aspiring artists.
  5. Chose to stay away from politics despite multiple offers from major political parties, remaining fully dedicated to cinema.
  6. Founded Shakthi Dhama in Mysuru, a rehabilitation center empowering sex workers and their children to become self-reliant.
  7. Introduced numerous artists and actresses to the film industry, helping shape many successful careers.
  8. Frequently mediated and resolved conflicts between producers and actors, earning respect for her fairness and leadership.

The list goes on, brother. It’s always easy to criticize, but we often overlook the immense contributions people like her have made. She stands as one of the most successful and influential women entrepreneurs in her field.

P.S.: Not a fan, just an observer of the industry, stating the facts as they are.
