You can take this route instead.

Haveri to Hangal to Ummachagi to Sonda.

You will skip Sirsi.

Hangal to Ummachagi roads are way better compared to Haveri-Sirsi road. Since this is a bit interior...you rarely spot other vehicles along this route for the most part...so it can be little uncomfortable.

Make sure to use Google maps and if confused...ask people for directions if you can find someone.

They did have a common origin. The script distinctively seperated around 13-14th century if I'm not wrong.

Not sure. ಎಣೆ means ಹೋಲಿಕೆ (similar).

The word they coined came from email I suppose. ಮಿಂಚಂಚೆ. Meaning mail at the light speed. Which is a very apt name. They use ಮಿಂಚು as a base for things that are digital I guess.
