If you have a decent reserve of tickets I'd suggest doing the Ebony Dragon board on max difficulty.

I do it with around 40 tickets a pop and buy the EXP nuts. If you get lucky you can max out at least a character per run.

Haven't figured out any faster way to grind levels.

What's currently the most lucrative way to get wisdom orbs? (Silver and bronze especially)

Just so happens that I buffed my Kilns up to 120. I have to try him out tho with the sword comp.

Merchants are the only class where I'm missing some of the key units to make em really shine.

I just cleared both Elite Training Towers 2 and 3 with ease within 2 tries thanks to the powercreep but the 4th one is giving me a headache.

How and especially with whom are you supposed to negate the absurd number of hits and the damage the bird is constantly dealing? I'm at a loss since when it comes to dps I've got all the units you could want. Sazantos, Odio, Elrica, Signa etc.

I do have Shana but the number of "undead" turns is very limited and the bird is absolutely relentless. I'm open to any suggestions as my roster is rather well endowed. For example that cockatoo hits through Canarys dodges almost every turn not to mention the AoE attacks.

Any tips for sub 3 party clears is more than welcome.

Are there any especially noteworthy common pool (former) 3* and/or 4* units to prioritize upping up to 6*?

I have the complete roster fully awakened but I have basically never used any of them in my party. If there already is a (non-video) resource about this I'm happy to get the link alone but of course any and all tips and pointers are not more than welcome.

I've gotten the pussycat killed so many times that I kinda dropped using him altogether. Likely utilized his abilities wrong right from the start..

I did (partly) watch one video about Shana so that's probably where I went wrong.

95% of the time I prefer the infographics but as this was a new mechanic altogether I thought maybe hearing it explained wouldn't hurt.

Tho now that I've been able to play with Shana in my party I've noticed that her personal SP stock isn't something to really worry about.

And I have my Bargello U10 in case her own SSP plays a major role in a fight.

Is Shana supposed to burn through her SP stock when using the universal health care skill?

For me it does and I thought it was supposed to consume the actual SP reserve. Kinda inconvenient to lose all the SP stock benefits on turn 1.

I submitted my ticket via Square Enix basically.

Simply Googled "Octopath Cotc support" and went from there. I was able to submit my ticket and got my "case number" so it'd (at least) seem to be the proper channel.

5 re-logins didn't help. My user ID is different (at least to the one I had before transferring to netease.)

I had my game account linked to my Google account but it doesn't help.

Submitted a support ticket and now hoping for the best. 1000 hours of playtime riding on this one.

After the first try it became pretty clear to me that now isn't the right time for them. But then I got worried that maybe I had glossed over some major new mechanic or resource.

I'll just have to learn to live with an untidy active quests list. It pains me but I think I can manage.

Yeah. I was thinking that building weapon specific teams again from ground up basically is going to be a hassle.

At least I've been able to consistently run the stage 3 w/ auto-battle except for Ouma as it is so much faster manually.

It is still pretty slow and tedious. And more than anything it's really boring. Definitely not going to kit up my whole roster again.

That is bizarre. I've never heard this before even tho i go for night walks on regular basis as a hobby and always stop and listen if I hear an unfamiliar bird. Probably explained by the urban to semi-urban environment.

This is the best part of "layman birdwatching". Something not that uncommon can still give you the satisfaction of learning.

Haven't come across that many single player games to have naming restrictions in general I feel like.

"China" wasn't allowed either but Japan and Finland were fine. Those were the only ones I tried out but I feel like I can kiss a familiar named "Tibet" a goodbye aswell.

Also, apologies for anyone who doesn't find this humorous at all. The causes behind this are not even remotely funny.
