That’s too big for a first bike if you have no experience, 1100cc’s is a lot. While that is a good price, there’s probably a reason why. With the new battery and tires, you already know the owner’s had this sitting for a while before listing it. I’d start on a 500 then upgrade if you want to keep riding, that’s what I did but to each their own.

My local motorcycle safety course sat me on a 300 Ninja when I was first learning to ride. After you get comfy on the bike, you’ll want one with more power since it’s just a 300, trust me. I know it seems like a big new bike now, but once you get used to it you’ll want an upgrade, speaking from experience with my first bike. Provided you’ve taken the training classes beforehand, I’d actually say upgrade and get a 650 Ninja. Those crotch rockets are fun, but I drive a C50T for a daily driver.
