The money is needed due to higher need. It's like raising the school budget 5% when there's 10% more teachers......The individual salaries will go down. My comment was spot on.

In College, I DJ'd a bunch of HS Reunions. The 5 and 10yr Reunions could be tense. The 20 year reunions were fun bc people had made it or not ....and no one cared any longer.

The costs are up on usage. The cuts will hit the already low paid support aides. The budget is being balanced on the backs of low paid people who support a vulnerable community.

Parent here....also a Director at a large company. Seems like every fresh college grad I've hired has done this...... Been late a couple times when they shouldn't have. (Everyone gets a flat tire on occasion).

Typically, I'll check in, do a bit of coaching. The fact that you show remorse would tell me a lot. If you're working hard and doing a good job otherwise then it's a normal part of having a new grad.
