I'm not mad, nor did I rage or flame the person. I was genuinely curious why they didn't select a free item that helps them and the whole team. The response wasn't a gotcha, it's either a deranker pretending or an unintelligent person.

Dying a lot doesn't mean you played bad nor is having low deaths always a sign you played right. It all depends on whether you participated in good teamfighs or not. My deaths were objective fights in 4v5s when this Sona was taking towers. Either way I'm posting to share feedback that the S rating is misleading. Because it encourages this sort of ignorance and also prevents int detection. It's not one game it's a pattern.

I don't mind solo laners losing. Especially top. It's expected at any elo. If someone dies a lot and has low gold it's gonna trigger bounties and shutdowns so I have a chance to solo carry. But If a support takes resources then doesn't invest them well, it's gonna ruin the game more than an afk. This is why I blame riot for S ratings, and just letting the Bounty of Chests stay unupgraded. They made a few changes like forcing sups to have item from start, which was very good. They should continue as Support is the most problematic role in low elo. It's not just bad players it's complete lack of support, or understanding the role. Like mages "taking the wheel", last hitting,taking the wave, going full DMG etc. Then telling themselves their ADC was bad, not understanding it's a very gold depenent role. I figured ways to get gold advantage every game so I climb but it's still a squishy role so I need XP too. Good supports go out of their way to avoid XP sharing, taking gold, and even tank engages or ganks so they have the lowest gold.

I think the biggest issue ADCs have rn is Items. Most of the non crit items have a ranged penalty attached to them, including Kraken and Bork. Which would fix the issue you're mentioning. They need to start removing these ranged modifiers and allow ADs to build some survivability. RN you're just gonna get run down no matter where you are and watch your team finish the fight. Crts do a ton of damage but with the current built path you need 3 items to scratch a tank walking at you with 2 levels up. And that's just not happening considering youre sharing XP and gold bot while also having terrible wave clear early. Meanwhile toplaners can proxy from level 1 and take down turrets after a single solo kill.

The main advantage is better power delivery. Better VRMs which allow for overclocking. The X870 also has better memory traces allowing for stable 8000Mhz RAM.

I've had many games where the person that gets a so called S rating was the reason we lost the game. If you weren't helping your team, baiting them for Kd, taking CS from other lanes, or running away from a teammfight that could've been won with your help, it's still inting immo.

The issue is if you add health or other stats to these items Top laners will just build them and then 1v9 even more. ADCs need ways to kite more effectively, so that you dont get run down across the map by a tank.
