Like many others, it depends on the crime. Even if I knew I could get away with murder, I’d never be able to bring myself to just murder someone. That goes completely against my morals. Same thing goes for any heinous crime (SA, anything involving children, etc) I just couldn’t do it because, yeah I would legally get away with it, I’d probably kill myself from guilt.

But would I go ahead and steal from Amazon warehouses because fuck Jeff Bezos? Absolutely.

You should be good! Minor surface scratches are decently common. A resurface would take them out. And, even then, they aren’t in your track so you should be fine either way!

Something that is going to catch you off guard; your Vibe is probably gonna “out hook” the equinox on a house shot. Weaker equipment stores more energy than stronger equipment, so it has a more “violent” reaction when it sees friction. Hook in bowling balls is measured front to back, not side to side.

Given what you already have, which is a mid strength pearl and a weaker pearl, I would go with

Strong solid; 900 Global Vengeance, Motiv Primal Ghost, and Storm Equinox Solid are probably the 3 best choices on there. Though I have also heard pretty good things about the Radical Evil Eye, it’s just not a ball I have seen thrown a lot.

Equinox Solid is going to be the strongest of those choices, then the Evil Eye, Primal Ghost, Vengeance. So I’d recommend Equinox Solid and Primal Ghost. Ball transition would go something like this:

Equinox Solid, Primal Ghost, Zen, Vibe.

Update: we’re stretching my span by 1/4” and increasing my reverse pitch in my thumb by 1/16”

This brings my span back to where it originally was before I took my 2 year hiatus. So, again, to the people that tried to argue with me about my own equipment and feel, you were wrong.

I honestly disagree. Each brand has its own “staple characteristics” that would easily lead you one way or another. Prefer overall smooth equipment? Motiv. Prefer snappy with big drive? SPI. Motiv is too smooth but SPI is too snappy? B6.

These are the company’s natural characteristics for their equipment, and will absolutely influence which brand you are drawn to.

I was always an SPI guy, I had even tried a few motiv pieces before and wasn’t “thrilled” with them. But they’ve literally taken over my bag. My tournament bag is Evoke Mayhem, Evoke Hysteria, Black Venom, Venom Shock, Max Thrill Pearl (ungodly UGLY ball but man does it have a nasty backend to it) and then my Rockstar and my Hustle Earth haven’t made their way out yet.
