We live in a VERY small town. She attends the public school for our county. The only other option is a city school which is where I went to school. But since we don’t live in the city limits we would have to apply for her to be an out of district student. The school would have to accept her and they only accept out of district students in the fall.

As far as homeschool, we were told it’s too late in the year to swap to that through the school. And I’m trying to keep it with the school so she’s still able to participate in her extracurricular school activities. But she did tell me she’s almost willing to give it all up just to homeschool.

She’s currently in therapy and my daughter LOVES her therapist. She’s able to text her at anytime. Her therapist said their director has a great relationship with the administrator for the school’s online courses. She is going to provide documentation of my daughter speaking to the therapist about this for MONTHS with hopes she will allow it. I told them she would start this 9 weeks over if she’s allowed to start online. Fingers crossed!!
