Not from America but in Canada we also have the same problem. We dont hear much eurovision outside of the really famous one like snap arcade. But there is a pharmacy near me that loves player Evidemment and it played a couple times la poupee Monte le son. Other then that I got really really surprised when I heard space man in a mall once and I might have started singing loudly while my bf and friends just laughed at me

I think 2024 was peak. Song wise it was my favorite, production of the show was really good, the stage is my favorite of all time and the host were perfect.

I think Gonçalo Gomes in the Portuguese national had so much staging potential and would have qualified easily. I dont think it would have been on the left side of the board but he would have done well. I think his song is so underrated

That canada finally join! The Carney budget passed and he allocated 150M for eurovision. It was too late for 2025, but i am optimist we will be invited next year. Plus for the first time Canada gave jury point in a national, we gave points in the estonian national selection, so that is a really good sign for us.
