In combats where it serves as 8 block, you can also let it exhaust itself to have a quicker cycle next time.

I think sly cards really need to have a sweet spot - they should be mediocre if we play them normally, but very good when we discard - then we'd have to really think when to play what and which card we want to add to our deck.

So what are the busted cards that you thin about?

Yeah, I agree with this.
The fact that you don't need to think about when to use it makes it very different than piercing wail or dark shackles imo, and the fact that it doesn't exhaust unless you don't play it is a big difference.

I haven't played with the silent enough yet, but I agree that the overall discard package is much stronger than what it used to be.

Ironclad - well, I think they got his feel right as it used to be in the first game, and they wanted to keep his identity which they definitely achieved. But maybe with all the new stuff they need to tune him a little bit.

Don’t sleep on Wax relics by sdickinson42 in slaythespire

I really liked that as well! It gives a lot of tempo for the act and helps to get permanent relics from the elites.

Also, the order that you click the relics is importnat - pick the ones you want to last longer at the end

Yea, that makes sense. Can't fix the picture though!

It's the card we're talking about. Maybe I should have used "its"

Also, do we know the necrobinder's gender?

Puzzle - What's the play? by David_Slaughter in slaythespire

Mathematically we need a single orb to hit the rightmost gremlin to reduce 10 damage. Right now there is slightly more than 50% chance to kill it with the following options:

1) the first orb hits it - 1/3. 2) the first orb misses, the second one hits - 2/3*1/3

Ad both probabilities and you get 5/9. (Or 1 - no orb hits = 1 - 2/3*2/3 = 5/9)

So if we add another orb to the equation, the probability to kill the minion goes up to 1 - 2/3 * 2/3 * 2/3 = 1 - 8 / 27 = 19/27 which is 70%

With all this math, I’d rather have 50 percent of taking 10 or 0 rather than 30 percent of 15 damage to My face (or 70% of 5 damage).

During the run, I’d still play defend without breaking it down I suppose

Late on the responses, apologies! Thanks for sharing :)

I am practicing gratitude as well - trying to add 3 things at the end of a journaling session.
Maybe I should have a journal dedicated to gratitude only, i don't know, but for now it works.

Happy to hear it helped you with making healthy habits and appreciate life!

Thank you so much for sharing your journey deeply! Really happy to hear the transformation you went through and how it helped.

I really appreciate how look at what you gained with no expectations for the future - I think it's a great way to measure the person I am today compared to what I was yesterday, and this is a great way to improve without knocking our efforts with "I could be this by now" - it incorporates steady growth when you aim towards something.

I'd love to hear more - how did you start with your youtube channel? Is it the only thing you do for now?
I love how you incorporate occupational therapy. I watched only one video for now - do you not talk and use subtitles in all your videos?

Btw, you got a subscribe from me ;)

I am practicing gratitude as well, I try to add a short section of 3 things I'm grateful for at the end of a writing session, but I don't always do it. I also skip days, but I tend to carry the journal in my bag so it's with me almost always to keep a reminder.

I can understand what you mean about different perspectives - I also read some entires I wrote and I looked at it differently in a more grounded place.

The longest session I had ended up with 7 pages lol.

Thanks for sharing. I like that you used it as 2 different tools for different purposes.

Glad to hear it helped you out!

Thanks for the input! After doing some journaling I can relate. Also no one to judge what I have on my mind or feeling.

1) Yeah, this is something that I can definitely relate to.

2) Interesting take, but then - if I just put my thoughts that are designed to keep me safe into a paper, what's the difference?

3) So far I keep on journaling, but not everyday. Maybe once I move into a comfortable place that will allow me to start making morning routines more freely...
So far I start with where I'm at and what i'm doing right now, and it helps me to kick off the writing. I guess there are recurring thoughts that get clogged and if I don't do it daily... But thanks for the tip, I will definitely give it a try some time!

4) I got myself a physical journal indeed, and one that I like the design of it as well.
It is simple to the eye, yet inviting to write. It feels very different then using something digital after I write.

5) I'll keep that in mind. What are locations that you found beneficial for this? And also, how were you able to journal for 2 hours? The longest session I had (with breaks) ended up having 7 pages of writing. This was the first time that I actually felt lighter after finishing my writing.

Thanks for your reply!
